The DDJ-FLX4 is an affordable device that inherits the key features of the DDJ-400's professional layout—a standard for entry-level controllers—but its user-friendly design makes it easy for DJs to learn. You have a choice of DJ software for mixing music, including free use of rekordbox Performance mode for Mac/Windows. And when the major update to rekordbox for iOS/Android is released in early 2023, you'll be able to use the DDJ-FLX4 with your iPhone, Android smartphone, iPad, or Android tablet. Serato DJ Lite is also free to use with the controller, and you can upgrade to Serato DJ Pro with a license or subscription. All of these software options let you play music files stored on your device, as well as tracks from TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, and SoundCloud Go+ (paid subscriptions may be required).

You'll have no trouble getting into DJing once you get your hands on the DDJ-FLX4, even if you're a complete beginner. And you can spice up your favorite tracks with Smart CFX, which applies complex combinations of effects to the music with the turn of a single knob.

When you're ready to share your performances with friends and fans, the DDJ-FLX4 is the perfect tool. Thanks to its USB audio output for microphone sound, you don't need external equipment like a mixer or sound card to add your vocals to your mix. Instead, the microphone audio is output by the controller simultaneously with the music, so you can easily share your set via a stream from a single computer.

Plus, with Smart CFX, you can put your own stamp on each track by simply turning a knob to apply a combination of effects that will add a dramatic touch to the sound.

rekordbox is compatible with a range of streaming services. Depending on the DJ software you use, you can choose from millions of tracks available on TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, and SoundCloud Go+ (subscriptions required) and mix them on the DDJ-FLX4. You can use all the effects and performance features to enhance your favorite tracks and create your own unique sound.

USB audio output for microphone sound

The DDJ-FLX4 simplifies things if you want to DJ or sing along to your sets.
